Remember the Maine
A classic cocktail that beautifully combines whiskey with the herbal notes of sweet vermouth and absinthe.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of rye whiskey, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1/4 oz of absinthe.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
- Discard the ice water from the coupe glass.
- Strain the mixed ingredients into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a brandied cherry.
