Step 1.
- Prepare fresh strawberries by washing them thoroughly and removing the stems.
Step 2.
- Blend approximately 6 ripe strawberries to create a smooth purée.
Step 3.
- In a champagne flute, add 1 ounce of the strawberry purée.
Step 4.
- Top off the glass with 4 ounces of chilled champagne or sparkling wine.
Step 5.
- Gently stir to combine the purée and sparkling wine without losing carbonation.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice on the rim of the glass.
