Description
A tropical and refreshing cocktail combining rum with the vibrant flavors of blue curaçao and pineapple.
History
The Blue Hawaii was created in the 1950s in Hawaii, but the addition of rum gives it a unique tropical twist.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Fill a shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 1.5 oz of light rum, 1 oz of blue curaçao, 2 oz of pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz of sweet and sour mix to the shaker.
Step 3.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.

1.5 oz Light rum
1 oz Blue Curaçao
2 oz Pineapple juice
0.5 oz Sweet and Sour Mix (optional)
1 piece Pineapple slice (garnish)
1 piece Cherry (garnish)
