Step 1.
- Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of light rum, 1 oz of pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz of grenadine.
Step 3.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the highball glass over the ice.
Step 5.
- Slowly pour 1 oz of orange juice over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry on top.
