Step 1.
- Place a sugar cube in a rocks glass.
Step 2.
- Add a few dashes of Angostura bitters to the sugar cube.
Step 3.
- Muddle the sugar and bitters together until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 4.
- Add a large ice cube to the glass.
Step 5.
- Pour 2 oz of Islay Scotch over the ice.
Step 6.
- Stir gently to chill and combine the flavors.
Step 7.
- Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink and drop it in as garnish.
