Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, add 2 ounces of Scotch whisky.
Step 3.
- Add 0.5 ounces of sweet vermouth.
Step 4.
- Add 0.5 ounces of yellow Chartreuse.
Step 5.
- Add a couple of dashes of orange bitters.
Step 6.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Step 7.
- Dump the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 8.
- Garnish with a cherry on a skewer.
