Instructions
- Muddle fresh mint leaves and simple syrup in the bottom of a julep cup.
- Fill the cup with crushed ice, packing it tightly.
- Pour in the Scotch whisky over the ice.
- Stir gently to mix the ingredients and chill the drink.
- Add more crushed ice to fill the cup, if needed.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint on top.
