Sidecar
A classic cocktail with a perfect balance of flavors, combining the richness of brandy with the tartness of lemon and sweet orange liqueur.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a shaker, combine 2 ounces of Cognac or Brandy, 1 ounce of orange liqueur, and 3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Discard the ice water from the coupe glass.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
