Instructions
- Chill a champagne flute in the refrigerator or with ice water.
- In a shaker filled with ice, combine 2 ounces of Cognac, 1 ounce of orange liqueur, and 3/4 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled champagne flute.
- Top with 2 ounces of sparkling wine.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel. Serve immediately.
