The Tequila Sunrise Spritz emerged as a vibrant cocktail in the early 2000s, combining the classic tequila sunrise with the trend of spritz-style drinks, perfect for sunny day sipping.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Fill a wine glass with ice cubes.
Step 2.
- Pour 2 oz of tequila over the ice.
Step 3.
- Add 3 oz of orange juice and stir gently.
Step 4.
- Top with 2 oz of sparkling wine.
Step 5.
- Slowly pour 1/2 oz of grenadine along the side of the glass to create a layered effect.
Step 6.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
