Instructions

Step 1.
- Rim the cocktail glass with lime juice and dip into salt to coat the rim.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1 oz of orange liqueur.
Step 3.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
Step 5.
- Slowly pour 1 oz of grenadine into the glass, allowing it to settle at the bottom for the layered effect.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a lime wheel and a cherry.
