The Maximilian Affair
A sophisticated cocktail that combines the herbal flavors of vermouth with the warmth of bourbon, enhanced by a touch of citrus and a rich cherry note.
Instructions
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
- Add 2 oz of bourbon to the mixing glass.
- Pour in 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth.
- Add 0.25 oz of orange liqueur.
- Stir well for about 30 seconds until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a Luxardo cherry and a twist of orange peel.
