Instructions
- Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of rye whiskey, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 0.25 oz of absinthe.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until the mixture is well chilled, about 30 seconds.
- Empty the cocktail glass of ice and water and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
- Serve immediately.
