Step 1.
- Fill a champagne flute with ice to chill.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.
Step 3.
- Shake well and strain into the chilled flute.
Step 4.
- Top off with 3 oz of sparkling water or champagne.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and serve immediately.
