Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of rye whiskey, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel, expressing the oils over the drink.
