Instructions
- Prepare the glass by rubbing the rim with a lemon wedge and dipping it into sugar to create a crust.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of whiskey, 1/2 oz of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 oz of simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
