Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or by filling it with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of rye whiskey, 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz of absinthe.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
