Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to cool.

- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz of gin, 0.5 oz of absinthe, 0.5 oz of maraschino liqueur, and 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
