Absinthe Bobby Burns
A herbaceous twist on the classic Bobby Burns, showcasing the unique flavors of absinthe.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 ounces of Scotch whisky, 1 ounce of sweet vermouth, and 1/2 ounce of absinthe.
- Add ice to the mixing glass and stir until well chilled.
- Discard the ice water from the coupe glass.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, expressing the oils over the drink.
