Absinthe Boulevardier
A unique twist on the classic Boulevardier, featuring the herbal complexity of absinthe alongside the warmth of whiskey.
Instructions
- Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a mixing glass, combine 1.5 oz rye whiskey, 0.75 oz sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz Campari.
- Add a dash of absinthe (about 0.1 oz) to the mixture.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
- Empty the ice water from the cocktail glass, then strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with an orange twist, expressing the oils over the drink.
