Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of rye whiskey and 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth.
Step 3.
- Add 0.25 oz of absinthe and a few dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 4.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
Step 5.
- Empty the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
