Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1/2 oz of absinthe.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the chilled coupe glass of ice water
Step 5.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Twist a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils and drop it in as garnish.
