Absinthe Fairy Sunset
A mesmerizing cocktail with a floral hint from absinthe, complemented by citrus flavors and a beautiful sunset hue.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting aside.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz of absinthe, 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.75 oz of simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Dump the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the mixture into the coupe glass.
- Carefully layer 0.5 oz of blood orange juice on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
- Garnish with an orange twist, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it on the rim.
