Step 1.
- Chill a coupé glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 1.5 oz absinthe, 1 oz Marsala wine, and 1 egg.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and froth the mixture.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chill glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled coupé glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a light grating of nutmeg on top.
