Step 1.
- Chill a flute glass.

- In a mixing glass, combine 1.5 oz of Armagnac, 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 3.
- Add ice and stir gently to chill.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled flute glass.
Step 5.
- Top with chilled Champagne.
Step 6.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
