Step 1.
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 2 oz of rye whiskey.
Step 3.
- Add 1 oz of sweet vermouth.
Step 4.
- Add 0.5 oz of amaro.
Step 5.
- Add 2 dashes of aromatic bitters.
Step 6.
- Stir well until chilled, about 30 seconds.
Step 7.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 8.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
