The Bobby Burns cocktail has its roots in the early 20th century, named after the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns. It combines whisky's warmth with the elegance of vermouth and the herbal notes of Fernet or Bénédictine, reflecting the spirit of celebration.

Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 ounces of Scotch whisky, 3/4 ounce of sweet vermouth, and 1/4 ounce of Bénédictine.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
