Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.

- In a mixing glass, combine 2 ounces of Scotch whisky, 3/4 ounce of sweet vermouth, and 1/4 ounce of Bénédictine.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it on top.
