History

The Caesar cocktail was invented in Calgary, Canada, in 1969. It was originally created to mimic the flavors of Italian spaghetti, featuring a combination of vodka, tomato, and clam juice with various seasonings.

Instructions

Step 1.
- Rim the highball glass with celery salt.
Step 2.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Step 3.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz vodka, 3 oz tomato juice, and 1 oz clam juice.
Step 4.
- Add 2 dashes of hot sauce and 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
Step 5.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lime.
Step 6.
- Shake gently and pour into the prepared glass.
Step 7.
- Garnish with a celery stalk and a lime wedge.
