Step 1.
- Muddle the fresh cherries and mint leaves in a mixing glass to release the juices and oils.
Step 2.
- Add bourbon, simple syrup, and lemon juice to the mixing glass.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and shake well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a fresh cherry and a sprig of mint.
