Step 1.
- Fill a shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 1.5 oz of bourbon whiskey.
Step 3.
- Pour in 0.5 oz of amaretto.
Step 4.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon (about 0.75 oz).
Step 5.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 6.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Step 7.
- Garnish with an orange wheel and a maraschino cherry.
