Step 1.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of Bourbon, 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz of honey syrup.
Step 2.
- To make honey syrup, mix equal parts honey and warm water until dissolved.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
