Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Japanese whisky, 1/2 oz of orange liqueur, and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Discard the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a twist of orange peel, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it on top.
