History

The Jungle Bird was first created in the late 1970s at the Aviary Bar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It became popular for its unique combination of rum and bitters, offering a refreshing yet slightly bitter taste.

Instructions

Step 1.
- Fill a shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add the dark rum, Campari, pineapple juice, and lime juice to the shaker.
Step 3.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
