History

Originating in the 1970s at the Aviary Bar in Kuala Lumpur, the Jungle Bird combines rum with tropical flavors and a hint of Campari for a refreshing twist.

Instructions

Step 1.
- Combine dark rum, Campari, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Step 2.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 3.
- Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice.
Step 4.
- Garnish with a pineapple leaf and a cherry.

0.75 oz Campari
1 oz Pineapple juice
0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 Pineapple leaf (garnish)
