Step 1.
- Chill a coupé glass by filling it with ice and water, set aside.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 1 1/2 oz absinthe, 1/2 oz simple syrup, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice and water from the chilled glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupé glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
