Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of rye whiskey, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel by expressing the oils over the drink and placing it on the rim.
