Remember the Maine (Sherry Spec)
A rich and warming cocktail that combines the complexities of rye whiskey with the sweet notes of vermouth and the spices of absinthe.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz rye whiskey, 1 oz sweet vermouth, and 1/4 oz absinthe.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
