Instructions

Step 1.
- Brew a strong cup of coffee and set aside.
Step 2.
- In a saucepan, combine the rum, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick, and coffee.
Step 3.
- Heat gently while stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm, but not boiling.
Step 4.
- Add the lemon juice and orange zest, continuing to heat for another minute.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into warm coffee cups.
