Step 1.
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of white rum, 3/4 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1/2 oz of sugarcane syrup.
Step 2.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake well until chilled.
Step 3.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 4.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
