Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.

- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of dark rum, 1 oz of simple syrup, and 1 oz of heavy cream.
Step 3.
- Add 1 whole egg to the shaker for richness.
Step 4.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix and froth the ingredients.
Step 5.
- Remove the chilled glass from the freezer or discard the ice water.
Step 6.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 7.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of grated nutmeg on top.
