Instructions
Step 1.
- Muddle the mint leaves gently in the bottom of a julep cup to release their oils.
Step 2.
- Add the rum and simple syrup to the cup.
Step 3.
- Fill the cup with crushed ice, and stir gently until the cup is frosted.
Step 4.
- Top off with more crushed ice to form a dome-like shape.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
