A tropical twist on the classic Manhattan, using rum instead of whiskey for a smoother, sweeter flavor profile.

Instructions

- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting aside.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 ounces of aged rum, 1 ounce of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
- Empty the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
