A twist on the classic Mai Tai, this cocktail uses rye whiskey to add a spicy depth to the traditional rum base, enhanced with almond and citrus notes.

Instructions

- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Add 1.5 oz rye whiskey, 0.5 oz orange curaçao, 0.5 oz orgeat syrup, and 1 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker.
- Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into a tiki mug filled with crushed ice.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of pineapple.
