Step 1.
- Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of sake and 1/2 ounce of dry vermouth.
Step 3.
- Add a few slices of fresh ginger to the shaker for flavor.
Step 4.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Step 5.
- Dump the ice water from the martini glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a thin slice of ginger on the rim.
