Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice or placing it in the freezer.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine 2 ounces of Scotch whisky and 1 ounce of sweet vermouth.
Step 3.
- Add a dash of Angostura bitters and a dash of orange bitters to the mixing glass.
Step 4.
- Stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
Step 5.
- Remove the ice from the chilled coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
