Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.

- In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine 1.5 oz of Scotch whisky, 1 oz of dry vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Campari.
Step 3.
- Stir the mixture well until chilled, about 20 seconds.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the cocktail into the glass.
Step 5.
- Express a lemon twist over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in as a garnish.
