Scotch Oaxaca Old Fashioned
A rich and smoky twist on the classic Old Fashioned, combining the depth of Scotch with the earthy notes of mezcal.
Instructions
- In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle a sugar cube and a few dashes of Angostura bitters together.
- Add a small amount of water to dissolve the sugar, mixing until fully dissolved.
- Fill the glass with a large ice cube.
- Pour in 1.5 oz of Scotch whisky and 0.5 oz of mezcal.
- Stir gently to combine ingredients and chill the drink.
- Garnish with an orange twist and a cherry, expressing the oils from the orange over the drink.
