A refreshing twist on the classic whiskey sour, featuring the earthy notes of rosemary to complement the rich flavors of Scotch.

Instructions

- Start by preparing the rosemary syrup. In a small saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar with a handful of fresh rosemary. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool and strain out the rosemary.
- In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Scotch whiskey, 3/4 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 oz of rosemary syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a lemon wheel.
