Step 1.
- Prepare a smoke infuser with wood chips (preferably oak).
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine Scotch and honey syrup.
Step 3.
- Add a few dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.
Step 4.
- Fill with ice and stir gently until chilled and well mixed.
Step 5.
- Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube.
Step 6.
- Using the smoke infuser, infuse smoke into the glass for a few seconds.
Step 7.
- Garnish with a twist of orange peel, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it in the glass.
