Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of blended Scotch whisky, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Islay single malt whisky.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Dump the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Express the oils from a twist of lemon peel over the drink and drop it in as garnish.
